Does it repel fire ants and fleas?
Not really. The formula we use is photosensitive and does not leave a residue behind. If the nozzles were to directly spray an ant-hill or fleas at point blank range, yes the formula would affect these critters.

How long is the mist effective?
Depending on the formula used, the mist is only effective for a very short time. We recommend at least 4 misting cycles per day during the morning and evening peak mosquito activity.
